Guiding Principles

Our Four Principles

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are built on four principles. They shape how we approach our pages.

  • P

    Perceivable

Information is presented in ways people can see, hear or read, including text alternatives for images.

  • O

    Operable

Navigation and controls work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.

  • U

    Understandable

Content uses clear language and consistent, predictable layouts.

  • R

    Robust

Pages use structured markup so they can be read by a wide range of browsers and assistive tools.

This statement applies to the Nestovaya online store at nestovaya.lol. It explains the standard we aim for, the steps we take, the limits we know about and how to reach us if something is difficult to use.

01Our Commitment

Travel should feel welcoming from the very first step, and that includes shopping for it. We want every customer to be able to browse our products, read our guides, place an order and contact our team with ease, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

02Conformance Goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Accessibility is ongoing work. Some parts of the store may not yet fully meet this goal, and we continue to make improvements as we update the site.

03Measures We Take

Our efforts to support accessibility include:

Text AlternativesDescriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
Clear StructureLogical headings and landmarks to help with navigation.
Keyboard AccessLinks and controls designed to be reached with a keyboard.
Visible FocusA clear outline that shows where keyboard focus is.
Readable ContrastText and background colors chosen with contrast in mind.
Motion PreferencesAnimations reduced when your device asks for less motion.

04Reading Options

This page includes reading options that let you enlarge the text, increase contrast or pause animations. They apply to this page only and reset when you leave it.

You can also use the tools built into your browser and device throughout our store:

  • Zoom in with Ctrl and + on Windows, or Command and + on Mac.
  • Turn on your device's reduced motion setting to limit animations across our pages.
  • Use your browser's reader view or text-size settings for longer articles.

05Compatibility

Our store is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers and with commonly used assistive technologies, such as screen readers, screen magnifiers and voice control software.

Older browsers and some combinations of browser and assistive technology may not display every part of the site as intended.

06Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. These can include:

  • Older content that has not yet been reviewed against our current approach.
  • Some product images supplied with limited descriptive detail.
  • Embedded content and features provided by third parties.

If you come across any of these, please let us know so we can help and improve the page.

07Third-Party Content

Parts of our store rely on services provided by third parties, such as checkout, payment, order tracking and social media platforms. We choose these services with care, but we do not control their accessibility. Where a third-party feature is difficult to use, our team can help you complete your task another way.

08Alternative Assistance

If any part of our website is hard to use, our team is available 24/7 by email and phone. We can help you:

  • Find product details, sizes and descriptions.
  • Get help with placing an order.
  • Understand our shipping, return and refund policies.

09Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our store. When you reach out, it helps to include:

  • The web address or name of the page you were using.
  • A short description of the problem you experienced.
  • The browser, device and any assistive technology you were using.
Your feedback is reviewed by our team and used to guide future improvements.

10Assessment Approach

Nestovaya assesses the accessibility of the store through self-evaluation. As we add new pages and features, we review them for keyboard access, structure, text alternatives, contrast and motion preferences.

11Statement Updates

We may update this Accessibility Statement as our store and practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
